Hull taught English and creative writing at Columbia University, 1916-1958. Among her novels are HAWK'S FLIGHT, A TAPPING ON THE WALL, and CLOSE HER PALE BLUE EYES. She edited THE WRITER'S BOOK and WRITER'S ROUNTABLE.
