Included are letters to Richard Watson Gilder, Robert Underwood Johnson, Colonel George B. Harvey, and Henry Mills Alden. Also, photocopies of the typescript of Brent L. Kendrick's Ph.D. thesis (University of South Carolina, 1981) THE INFANT SPHINX: COLLECTED LETTERS OF MARY E. WILKINS FREEMAN. 2 vols. (Published version in the General Library: PS1713/.A44/1985).
