DescriptionScope and ContentOffice files and reports of the Bureau of Applied Research of Columbia University, relating to the Bureau's War Documentation Project. Under government grants, this project used captured German documents to study the Second World War in the Soviet Union. This collection includes correspondence, progress reports, other office files, and printed reports and drafts of specific projects. There is also one file concerning a project on Hungarian military potential after World War II.
