Printed ephemera, including some periodicals. Most items concern various political and revolutionary groups, such as the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDRP), the Party of Socialist-Revolutionaries (PSR), the Jewish socialist Bund, the Polish Socialist Party, and the Anarchist-Communists. The materilas reflect the activities of the groups and organizations and include flyers, leaflets, calls for actions, invitations, event announcements, newsletters, appeals, articles, bulletins, etc.
Bulk of the materials were printed in western Europe in the period 1906-1914; later materials chiefly concern Russia in 1917-1920. There are also handwritten materials, including meeting notes and agendas, articles, etc. While most materials in the collection are in Russian, there are also items in Polish, Yiddish, Ukrainian, German, and French.
