There are one or two letters each from Dmitriĭ Mendeleev, Maksim Gorḱiĭ, Pavel Skoropadskiĭ, Boris Pilńi︠a︡k, Konstantin Pobedonost︠s︡ev, Hilaire Belloc, Evelyn Waugh, Rudyard Kipling, John Maynard Keynes, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, and Lewis Mumford.
