The manuscript "Etnograficheskoe proshloe Kryma i Prilegaiushchikh k nemu Chernomorsko-Azovskikh Stepei" covers the history and ethnography of the region of Crimea from 484 B.C. to ca. 1774, and gives a general ethnographic outline of the region in the first half of the twentieth century.
