DescriptionScope and ContentThe papers include correspondence, manuscripts, and printed materials. The manuscripts include drafts of several of his novels, including the two mentioned above, and of his non-fiction works, such as "Paragvaĭskai︠a︡ nadezhda" and "Belogvardeĭt︠s︡y na Balkanakh." Printed materials include clippings and copies of several of his books. Also in the collection are manuscripts of poems and stories, and copies of two books by his father, Dmitriĭ V. Karachevskiĭ-Karateev.
