Scope and Content

Collection contains correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, subject files, and printed materials. Much of the correspondence and other materials relate to the United Committee to Aid Russians in Europe, which helped displaced persons; Kapat︠s︡inskiĭ chaired this body. Other materials concern the Russkoe Obʺedinennoe Obshchestvo Vzaimopomoshchi v Amerike (Russian Consolidated Mutual Aid Society of America -- ROOVA). Cataloged materials consist of 2 letters by Sofii︠a︡ Panina and 1 by Igor ́Sikorskiĭ.
