Scope and content:

Мemoirs that cover period before the revolution of 1905, peasant unrest and revolutionary activitiy in Riga in 1905, World War I, 1917 Revolution, and foreign intervention. There is also a memoir by one of Andrusova's uncle in German.

Biographical / historical:

Mariia Andrusova, granddaughter of decembrist N. I. Lorer. During World War I she was a nurse, first in hospitals in Moscow and Petrograd, and then at the front. In 1917 she married the Polish doctor Lopott. In 1919 ended up in Poland. In the 1920s, her husband began serving in Brest-Litovsk, where she actively participated in the life of the Russian community, helped to create the Russian Gymnasium, the Russian Club, the Russian Charitable Society and other organizations.
