DescriptionSummaryThis is a miscellaneous collection of maps transferred from the Geology Department. Some are old and rare, some are modern facsimiles. Gifts, purchases, and relevant maps from other special collections were added over time. Maps are arranged geographically. The library has a card catalog listing the maps individually, alphabetized by geographical/political entitity depicted; i.e., maps of Paris are filed under P, maps of France under F, and maps of Europe under E.
