An extensive collection of correspondence, drafts, briefs, and printed matter.

  • Series 1: Pepperdine Law Collection

    This series contains the law volumes, books, and clippings that were transferred from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2015. These volumes were classified at Pepperdine and their LC call numbers are retained. The volumes are arranged according to the LC classification numbers assigned.

Biographical / Historical

Walsh served on the federal bench, he was a prosecutor, corporate litigator, counsel to Gov. Thomas E. Dewey of New York, deputy attorney general under President Dwight D. Eisenhower and a negotiator at the Paris peace talks during the Vietnam War.

Walsh is best remembered for his work as the special prosecutor who spent six years trying to bring Reagan administration officials to justice in the Iran-Contra affair.
