History / Biographical NoteBiographical / HistoricalIn 2012, the Society of Illustrators acquired the assets of the 10-year-old Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MoCCA), and assumed the organization of the museum's annual indie comics festival, MoCCA Arts Fest. For the 2013 show, the Society introduced the Awards of Excellence, to be awarded to five or more exhibitors by a panel of 5 industry judges. |
