DescriptionSummaryCollection contains research material, notes, and drafts of Estren's book A History of Underground Comics. The research material includes a number of comic books, both underground and mainstream.

History / Biographical NoteBiographical / HistoricalMark Estren is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist. He received doctorates in psychology and English from the University of Buffalo and a master's degree from the Columbia University School of Journalism where his thesis was on Underground Comics. |
