This collection is available to qualified readers during Rare Book and Special Collection Reading Room hours in the C. V. Starr East Asian Library, Columbia University. Hours of operation can be found on the Library's website. Immediate Source of Acquisition

Source of acquisition--The unique items in the collection were donated to the C. V. Starr East Asian Library by University Professor Emeritus Donald Keene, during Abe Kōbō's lifetime. After Abe's death, his daughter Dr. Manō Neri donated photocopies of everything that had been in Abe's study at the time of his death.
