Correspondence is arranged alphabetically. Arrangement is by name of personal correspondent/organization or by subject when a substantial number of letters constitute a clearly defined topic or category, such as Autograph Requests. Titles listed under Contents are either supplied or taken from handwritten annotations on letters. All folders contain incoming and outgoing correspondence. General correspondence includes letters on a variety of topics. Highlights from each folder are noted. Files may include clippings and photographs. Some correspondence was duplicated and may appear in more than one folder
