Collection includes photographs of residential and commercial buildings; interiors and exteriors; architectural drawings of houses; site drawings of the Continental Building in Chicago; newspaper clippings; reviews of Zucker's work; some correspondence; German service cross citation; German patent certificate; notes and notebook; and photo album of his work.
Series I: Project Records, 1911-1935
This series consists of project photographs from 1911-1935 and is mostly of houses. The files are arranged by alphabetical order of folder title.
Series II: Professional papers, 1911-1968
This series consists of Dr. Paul Zucker's professional papers from 1911-1968. There are notes, a German "service cross" citation, and a German patent certificate. The files are arranged by chronological order of folder title.

The bulk of the collection was donated in 1973 by the Estate of Paul Zucker (1973.011). One folder of notes and a notebook was donated in 1982 by Arnold Markowitz (1982.008).

Dr. Paul Zucker (1889-1971) was a German architect, author and later professor at Cooper Union in New York, N.Y. Before coming to the United States in 1938, Dr. Zucker headed his own architectural firm in Germany and designed numerous office buildings, banks, stores and country houses.
