This collection is available for use by appointment in the Department of Drawings & Archives, Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library, Columbia University. Immediate Source of Acquisition
The bulk of the collection was donated in 1973 by the Estate of Paul Zucker (1973.011). One folder of notes and a notebook was donated in 1982 by Arnold Markowitz (1982.008).

History / Biographical Note
Biographical / Historical
Dr. Paul Zucker (1889-1971) was a German architect, author and later professor at Cooper Union in New York, N.Y. Before coming to the United States in 1938, Dr. Zucker headed his own architectural firm in Germany and designed numerous office buildings, banks, stores and country houses.
