<p>This collection documents the literary work and intellectual engagements of Sharad Patil (1925–2014), a Marathi writer, Marxist theorist, and anticaste intellectual known for synthesizing Marxist and anticaste thought in his analyses of Indian society, history, and culture. His work engages with Dalit, Adivasi, and rural social movements in Maharashtra.</p><p>The materials, dating circa 1970s–2010s, include manuscripts and correspondence that reflect Patil's literary production and his exchanges with contemporaries.
