    <head>Scope and Contents</head>
<p>This collection contains Jacalyn Shelley's Monmouth University Master's thesis on the subject of the ordination of women in the Episcopal Church, as well as her preliminary research in the form of transcripts of her oral history interviews with seven Episcopal Women priests from the Diocese of New Jersey (the first generation of women priests in Diocese of New Jersey). Some transcript folders contain correspondence or annotations to the transcripts. A donation letter for the collection is also included.</p>  </scopecontent>
