Collection-level record describing unprocessed material made public in summer 2018 as part of the Hidden Collections initiative. Collection was surveyed for a Hidden Collections request in November 2019 and it was determined that due to the brittle paper and lack of folders in all boxes, it can not be used until material is re-housed and organized by staff.
This collection is located off-site. You will need to request this material at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.
This collection consists of the records of the Young Men's Christian Association of Columbia University. The records include membership lists, correspondence, and materials about their events such as guest speakers and the textbook loan library.
