Summary

Scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, magazine clippings, and articles from Prescott's career as a book reviewer. Many of the reviews were published in Women's Wear Daily, Look Magazine, Newsweek, and the New York Times. Often placed in between pages of the scrapbooks are letters from the authors of the books Prescott reviewed. In addition, the scrapbooks hold personal correspondence, unpublished drafts, speeches, poems, articles about his career, and related materials. There are also scrapbooks with correspondence, reviews, and other clippings about Prescott's books: A World of Our Own, The Child Saved, A Darkening Green, Soundings, Never in Doubt, and The Norton Book of Short Stories (editor).
 </scopecontent>
