    <head>Summary</head>
<p>The collection consists of correspondence related to Gordevitch's position as Chief European Correspondent of Vision/Visao. Correspondence contained in the collection is primarily in English and German with a few documents in Russian, Italian, Spanish and French. The collection is largely made up of correspondence between Igor Gordevitch and his wife Peggy Gordevitch with persons in various upper level management positions at Vision, Incorporated on matters ranging from story ideas to salary disbursement issues to marketing strategies for the publication. Additionally, the collection contains some letters and telegrams between the Gordevitchs and several journalists working in Europe during the 1950s.</p>  </scopecontent>

<p>Igor Gordevitch was the Chief European Correspondent for Vision/Visao, a Spanish and Portuguese language news magazine distributed to Latin American executive audiences by Vision Incorporated. As Chief European Correspondent, Gordevitch wrote mainly on the subject of the post-WWII German economic situation and German-Latin American economic relations.</p>  </bioghist>
