A collection of 12 black-and-white prints (with negatives) of the Dance Theatre of Harlem and Arthur Mitchell in San Francisco.

Biographical / Historical

Photographer Andrew Brier was assigned to follow the Dance Theater of Harlem on tour of San Francisco in 1976. The company gave performances and led workshops. Locations in the images include the Palace of Fine Arts and the Golden Gate Bridge.
