This large series documents efforts to abolish the death penalty, especially in the United States. It contains documents on funding, events, training, and prisoners on death row, as well as meeting minutes, student programs, and many other materials. It also contains information on other organizations such as Death Penalty Focus of California.

The second series covers a variety of subjects, such as refugees, conscientious objectors, indigenous peoples, several of AIUSA's campaigns, and information on the policies and functioning of the organization, among many others.
