Kept by Kapp's wife Elisabeth (von Saltza) Krapp (1884—1978). The family spent a sabbatical year away from the US. There were three children, Robert (sometimes Bobby, Columbia '35), Philip (sometimes Pippy, Columbia '40), Elizabeth (sometimes Bet or Betty, Barnard '34). The diary is mostly a record of the things they saw and did (as well as their impressions of the monuments/museums). 166 page ms (journal form, A6).

It includes design drafts, layout mockups, typesetting drafts, photographs, price quotes, and invoices for the publication of the reports. The publications that have the most documentation include: annual reports, Children in Detention, Deaths in Detention, and the Study of the Feasibility of Enforcement in U.S. Courts of Decree No.1 for the Protection of the Natural Resources of Namibia. )

"We're deprived from playing because of the landmines, and our families are not able to cultivate the land." Israel left many land mines in South Lebanon when they withdrew from the country in May, 2000. Following Israel's withdrawal, many children continued to be injured by these mines.
