Morse (1935-) graduated from Union Theological Seminiary with an S.T.M in 1968 and a Ph.D. in 1976, and is a Presbyterian minister, Biblical scholar, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer Professor Emeritus at Union. This collection contains correspondence, research files, publications, administrative materials, and audio cassettes.

Abstract Or Scope: This collection consists of 257 video recordings (from 484 dvds) capturing various GSAPP events conducted from 2005 to 2010. These events encompass lectures, debates, conferences, and symposia and feature practicing architects, architectural historians and theorists, preservationists, and other influential figures within the architectural field. Currently, we are in the process of digitizing these video recordings, and they will be accessible online to Columbia affiliates upon completion [anticipated summer 2024]. Additionally, these recordings will be made available to the public in our reading room. They have been organized chronologically, with undated recordings appearing at the end of the collection.

Abstract Or Scope: This collection contains photographs and contact sheets of alumni, faculty and student life taken expressly for a 1980s admissions brochure, capital campaign brochures in the 1990s and the Columbia alumni magazine in the 1980s through early 2000s. Additionally, there are reproductions of photographs and illustrations dating prior to the late 1970s which were used in the magazine.

Abstract Or Scope: The PEN/Faulkner Foundation gives out three major literary awards: the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, the PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in the Short Story, and the PEN/Faulkner Literary Champion. Creator: Re-imagining Community
Abstract Or Scope: The Re-imagining Community was a grassroots, ecumenical movement (centered in Minneapolis, Minnesota) that was organized to challenge what it saw as a patriarchal church hierarchy, promoting justice and equality in the church and society as a whole. The collection contains newsletters and other publications, audio recordings of annual conferences and video recordings of responses to the 1993 conference, records relating to the planning of the annual conferences, and administrative records of the organization.

Abstract Or Scope: This collection, compiled by the MRL, contains filmstrips and commentary on the Church of South India's inauguration in 1947, as well as CD copies. This film and commentary, entitled "A Church Is Born" and presented by the India Committee of the Foreign Missions Conference of North America (FMCNA), provides a brief overview of the history of Christian missions to India, explains the appeal for unity amongst Protestant denominations in India, and shows the inauguration of the Church of South India.

Abstract Or Scope: A born-digital work product collection of former journalist, oral historian, and OHMA grad Jeffrey Brodsky. Collection contains personal materials, audio files of a radio show, photographs and video of red carpet interviews, and materials related to Brodsky's time as a student in the Oral History Master's program at Columbia, including interviews (some partial, some complete) and related materials to his thesis title "My First Campaign," an exploration of political candidates' first political campaign.
