The papers include comics, zines, illustrations, original art, journals, sketchbooks, ephemera, production materials, printed materials, photographs, and audio and video recordings which documented Fly's personal life and artistic career highlighting the history of New York City's Lower East Side neighborhood and the counterculture scenes from the 1990s and beyond.

Personal and professional papers of comics artist Howard Cruse (1944-2019). Cruse was author of the graphic novel Stuck Rubber Baby (1995), the comic strips Wendel (1983-1989) and Barefootz (1971-1979), and founding editor of the anthology Gay Comix (1980-1991).
The Jaina Bee Zinester Ephemera Collection consists of personal correspondence from and original art by the core contributors to Bee's compilation zine Flatter! (1992-1997) as well as correspondence from close friends and peers involved in West Coast zine community in the 1990s and onwards. Her collection also gathers original art as well as promotional and other ephemeral materials embedded in the region's alternative press and creative community.
The Jenna Freedman Zine Correspondence Collection contains Jenna Freedman's correspondence as the Barnard Zine Librarian, including her communication with zinesters, zine distros, teachers, students and libraries about the Zine Collection, as well as materials gathered from zine fairs, conferences, workshops and presentations Freedman has participated in or attended.
