The collection includes both Polish and German versions of Bykowska's memoirs covering the period 1939-1942. A shorter memoir discusses how she became a nurse in Poland before the war. There is also a photograph of pani Piechkowska (1942)

Memoirs of Wierzbicki. The carbon copy typescript "Vous qui entrez ici laissez toute esperance" was edited and translated into French by Marthe Bernard. It deals with the writer's arrest in Warsaw by the Gestapo, and his experiences in Nazi concentration camps, including Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen.

The typescript ""Powstanie Warszawskie w Sierpniu 1944 roku w swietle dokumentow Polskiej Misji Wojskowej w Stanach Zjednoczonych" concerns the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, using as its main source the records of the Polish Military Mission in the U.S.; copies of 40 documents are appended.

The manuscript diaries, in 4 notebooks, cover from 1 September to 28 December 1939, and discuss events in the city.
