These are photographs taken behind German lines during World War I and other illustrations. The photographs are copies in part.

Autobiography of Baron von Falz-Fein; memoirs of General Nikolai A. Epanchin, Director of the Corps of Pages; one photograph; and several postcards.

The papers relate chiefly to the business, financial, real estate, military, civic and personal activities of Nicholas Fish. There are letters from various military figures concerning army provisions during the Revolution, letters relating to lands given to Fish for his services during the war, twenty letters from various individuals to George Clinton (1739-1812), and ten letters to DeWitt Clinton. The Hamilton Fish letters deal with business matters of his father, Nicholas, after his death. There are a few personal letters from several family members and a diary of Nicholas Fish from 1784. The documents consist of real estate and financial matters of the family as well as various petitions on matters of a civic nature

Typescript copies of letters from White to his wife; and other family letters, accounts, etc. Copied from originals in the possession of Robert H. White, Dr. White's grandson. The copies were made as part of the Historical Records Survey. The ribbon copies have been editied with footnotes explanatory of certain points in the letters, and attached to the ribbon copy is a brief extract of the letter's content. Among the cataloged correspondents are: Alexander Hamilton, John Church Hamilton, Gen. Schuyler Hamilton, Ralph Isaacs Ingersoll, Charles Augustus Peabody, Gen. J. Fred Pierson, Gen. Winfield Scott, Martin Van Buren, and a manuscript by George Washington.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, memorabilia, business records, book catalogs and other printed materials of Louis and Marguerite Cohn and their customers, associates and friends. Correspondents include Stephen Vincent Benʹet, Robert Frost, T.S. Eliot, and Marianne Moore, all among the authors represented in the Crown Octavos series published by the House of Books; there are also manuscripts, proofs and correspondence with printers for this series. Other correspondents include Cyril Connolly, W. Somerset Maugham and Tom Stoppard. Also in the collection are letters and manuscripts from the stock of the shop; notable among these are a series of Graham Greene letters and pages from an autograph book which contains entries from many turn of the century American Literary figures. The collection also include the personal memorabilia of the Cohn and Arnold families. Louis Cohn's participation in World War I as an officer in the French Army is recorded in photographs, documents and memorabilia. Marguerite's childhood collections, among them many early greeting cards, are also included.

Correspondence, photographs, leaflets, pamphlets, manuals, reports and newsletters. Much of the correspondence details Marcu's efforts to persuade the American Military Government for Bavaria not to issue a weapons permit to a former Nazi who was seeking a position with the newly reconstituted police force.

These include over four hundred letters to Alexander, as well as miscellaneous letters and telegrams; some of his manuscripts and notes; business records of his law firm; military documents of the western divisions of the Confederate Army; copybooks and letter books; and complete and partial newspapers and clippings from the various Southern newspapers (in particular THE SAVANNAH REPUBLICAN, the DAILY DISPATCH of Richmond, and the ADVERTISER AND REGISTER of Mobile) which carried Alexander's dispatches.
