Correspondence, manuscripts, and books of Kielty. Of special interest are the long and rich files of letters from Dorothy Canfield Fisher and W. Somerset Maugham, as well as letters from other contemporary authors, among them, Bernard Berenson, Isak Dinesen, Rumer Godden, Franz Werfel, and Kathleen Winsor.

Letters to Kenton from outstanding literary figures such as Theodore Dreiser, Carl Van Vechten, Charles Hanson Towne, George Cram Cook, Henry L. Mencken, Richard Watson Gilder, Witter Bynner. The correspondence is partly personal, and part relates to the Provincetown Players, but chiefly the letters are from editors of various magazines including DELINEATOR and SMART SET, to which Kenton contributed stories.

Correspondence, manuscripts, and page-proofs received by Andrew Crozier for the American poetry issue of GRANTA magazine, March 1964, published at Cambridge University. There are also later correspondence and printed materials from English and American poets to Andrew Crozier.

Among the correspondents are Melville Cane, Paul de Kruif, John Erskine, Merrill Moore, and Christopher Morley.

Letters of Freeman, addressed to various personalities at Harper Brothers and the Century Magazine, relating chiefly to the publication in serial and book form of her various novels and short stories. Included are letters to Richard Watson Gilder, Robert Underwood Johnson, Colonel George B. Harvey, and Henry Mills Alden. Also, photocopies of the typescript of Brent L. Letters from Willis to George James Pumpelly. The correspondence is mostly written from Boston and only one letter is actually dated with the year by Willis. The letters are very personal in character, giving a rather full account of the young poet's activities, particularly his affairs of the heart, and the editing of a magazine. Also, there are two promissory notes, 1839, 1842, written by Willis for sums to be paid to Pumpelly.

Correspondence, manuscripts, proofs, and publicity materials for POETRY LONDON-NEW YORK, which appeared in four issues from 1956 to 1960. There is correspondence to and from M.J. Thurairajah Tambimuttu (1915-1983), the editor, Anthony S.M. Dickins, the "editor in Britain" from the contributors, manuscripts submitted for publication, and letters about the launching party for the magazine on 31 July 1956.
