11000 itemsThe collection includes photocopies of letters by Josef Cardinal Mindszenty and an undated photograph of Pope Paul VI. The arranged correspondence dates from 1947 to 1980. There are manuscripts by a number of Hungarian emigres as well as by Pfeiffer himself. The subject files contain information on the Assembly of Captive European Nations. Among the printed materials are 49 folders of newspaper articles by or about Pfeiffer. In addition, there are seven reels of 7 1/2" audio tape containing interviews with Pfeiffer.

1000 itemsMost of the collection consists of manuscripts by Lebedev and others on Russian and East European literary and political topics from about 1914 to the 1930s. There are three microfilm reels of materials on Gavrilo Princip and the asassination of Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo, 1914. Correspondents include Hamilton Fish Armstrong and George F. Kennan. There are several drafts of articles by Mark Slonim and materials on the Socialist Revolutionaries in the emigration from about 1930. Lebedev's personal documents cover from his army service (the Russo-Japanese War), through the 1917 Revolution and Civil War, and his later life in Europe and the United States. There are photographs from interwar Albania and Bulgaria, including ones of Aleksandŭr Stamboliski. Printed materials include a copy of Lebedev's book "Novym putem" and issues of "Voli︠a︡ Rossii.".

Printed materials include articles about Vladimir and his obituaries. There is a photograph of the "Normandie" coming into an American port in the 1930s.

The bulk of the collection relates to various émigré political organizations in which Butenko was involved: the Labor Peasant Party (Trudovai︠a︡ krestʹi︠a︡nskai︠a︡ partii︠a︡), the Russian Consolidated Mutual Aid Society in America (Russkoe obʺedinennoe obshchestvo vzaimopomoshchi v Amerike), the Anti-Bolshevik Struggle Coordinating Center (Koordinettsionnyi Tsentr Antibol'shevistskoi Bor'by or KTsAB), and others.
Tatiana Nikandrovna Tarydina Papers, 1917-1977
600 itemsCorrespondence, manuscripts, photographs, a document, a subject file, printed materials and scrapbooks of Tarydina. The correspondence includes letters from Rodion Berezov, Georgiĭ Grebenshchikov, Olǵa Spesivt︠s︡eva, Aleksandra Tolstai︠a︡ and I︠A︡kov T︠S︡vibak. While most of the manuscripts are Tarydina's own, there is an essay by Natalii︠a︡ Logunova, and a copy of one by Maksimilian Voloshin about Tarydina's father, General Nikandr Marks. There are several dozen photographs that chronicle emigre theatrical events she produced during the 1940's in New York in collaboration with her husband, I︠A︡kov Shigorin. There is a 1917 contract with the Bolśhoĭ Letniĭ Teatr and a subject file concerning Tarydina's father. The clippings and scrapbooks relate to Tarydina's theatrical career at the Moscow Malyĭ Theater, in Odessa and in New York as well as to her essays published in the emigre press.
