Letters, documents, clippings, and printed matter related to the work of the Citizens Union of New York, including correspondence, memoranda, and reports which survey, analyze, and criticize bills introduced in the state legislature and city council; 244 boxes of "Who's Who" biographies of candidates for city and state offices; files of campaign and election materials; records of affiliated "good government" organizations in New York City; and extensive financial records.

This collection represents the alumni directory and register holdings at the University Archives. This finding aid was created to facilitate access to the most requested volumes. There are also links for those volumes available online. For the most part, Alumni Directories include information about alumni living and who have shared contact information for publication. Alumni Registers list former students, including those who are no longer living. This collection finding aid is meant to facilitate access to a number of related publications. The Univeristy Archives holdings have been collected and organized so that users can easily request materials to view in the RBML reading room. For a few items, if there is an existing digital copy, a link has been provided.

The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, subject files and printed materials. Correspondence consists mostly of letters to Elizaveta Miller. Memoirs and manuscripts are mostly by Miller and cover topics ranging from her childhood in St. Petersburg to her emigration to South Africa. Subject files include materials concerning her brother, Grigoriĭ Lozinskiĭ, a poet, translator and literary critic. Documents and photographs concern the Lozinskiĭ and Miller families. Printed materials consist of books, clippings, periodicals, and pamphlets; included is an "Almanach de St. Petersburg" (1911), with directories and a listing of names.

Correspondence, documents, financial records and memorabilia. The personal correspondence of Lawrence A. Wien, 1960-1983; including memoirs and notes on interests both personal and financial. The Lawrence A. Wien Foundation files include correspondence, 1958-1976, information on the Foundation's 10-year trust, and information on tax returns. Files for the Charles and Rosanna Batchelor Memorial fund consist of general correspondence, grant requests, and miscellaneous financial documents. The Committee to Increase Corporate Philanthropic Giving files comprise a large part of the collection. Among the numerous individual corporations represented are the American Broadcasting Company and the Zale Company. Wien's Foundation for the Improvement of Housing Arrangements for Official Foreign Personnel has personal files for each person receiving the Foundation's benefits, guarantees for those individuals, and letters ment to solicit funds from various corporations

The collection consists of the records of university seminars in various fields for each academic year since their establishment. A typical file will include minutes of the meetings, but there may also be supporting documentation such as correspondence, reports, or copies of papers presented at a meeting.

Correspondence, manuscripts, documents, financial records, photographs, memorabilia, and printed materials. The Foundation's correspondence files consist of letters from different organizations and foundations, including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Social Change, The NAACP, the United Negro College Fund, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and the YWCA. Also included in this collection are community dialogues on race relations (1974-1975); proposed dialogues (1979) on such subjects as the Boy Scouts of America, Columbia University, and the National Council of Christians and Jews; and files on the Whitney M. Young Fellows Retreat Conferences (1980-1984). The collection contains many files on Ed Wilson's bust of Young (1991), including contracts and agreements, records of payments to Wilson, documents concerning the bust's placement in various locations, correspondence with Wilson (1983-1991), and miscellaneous photographs and pictures. The contributions files contain annual listings of contributions and records of contributions from the National Urban League, assorted organizations, corporations, individuals, foundations, and Philip Morris.
