This collection consists of correspondence, both personal and professional, of Andrew Cordier from the late 1920s through 1974, as well as administrative records related to Cordier's tenure at Columbia University.
The large collection covers all aspects of Cordier's life. It contains letters, memoranda, reports, cables, printed materials and photographs, mostly pertaining to his tenure at the United Nations and Columbia University.

Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching (CFAT), founded by Andrew Carnegie in 1905 with a dual mission of a teacher pension fund and an educational research center, played a prominent role in research and development of educational standards. The collection contains records from the "New York" (1904-1980) period of the Foundation's activities.
This collection consists of Barnard College Dean's and President's Reports. They include an overview of recent and planned developments at the college, as well as summaries of problems and proposals.
Francis Brown was a Presbyterian minister, biblical scholar, and Union Theological Seminary president. The collection contains correspondence (including relating to Union Settlement and Union Theological Seminary; General Synod of the Presbyterian Church); class notes; sermons; the Brown, Briggs, Driver Hebrew-English Lexicon manuscript; family papers and photographs; and an earthenware Astarte figurine.
