This collection includes approximately 75 stories, several collections of poems, and two novels by Pli︠u︡shkov; there are also about 25 essays by him on literary topics, and a brief autobiography. Photographs are chiefly of Pli︠u︡shkov and his wife. In addition, there is a photocopy of a document concerning the medical treatment given to Maksim Gorḱiĭ in 1887 by Pli︠u︡shkov's father after Gorḱiĭ attempted suicide.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, and printed materials. The correspondence includes 42 letters to Derek Stanford. There are also ten volumes of his diaries covering the years from 1918 to 1981 and his autobiographical manuscripts: THE OCTOPUS OF LOVE; THE ANSWER TO LIFE IS NO; BLACK SAHARA; COFFEE FOR LAURA; PRINTERS' PIE; THE FRAIL SCREEN; and NO MONEY FOR DREAMS, as well as many unpublished poems in manuscript. Correspondence, manuscripts, documents and printed materials of Tomilin. There are several letters from Georgiĭ D. Grebenshchikov. The manuscripts--all of which are by Tomilin--include essays, stories and autobiographical writings chiefly devoted to his career as a teacher in Russian and Soviet institutions as well as in DP camps following his emigration to Germany in 1945. The collection also includes his birth certificate and such printed materials as poems by Tomilin, an essay by his wife and a copy of "Luch" (Salzburg, 1954).

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, and printed materials. There are manuscripts for his books, short stories, articles, and other writings. The printed materials include books written, edited, and translated by Komroff, as well as his contributions to anthologies and periodicals. There are also a number of books by other authors inscribed to him. Most of the photographs are portraits of literary figures, the majority of which were taken by Komroff.

Collection includes 19 manuscript notebooks of poetry and prose; 42 titled articles in typescript form on religious, political, literary and autobiographical topics; several published collections of her poetry; and a folder of original drawings. Also included are three biographical articles by K. Mochulśkiĭ, M. Vishni︠a︡k and her mother Sofii︠a︡ Borisovna Pilenko, as well as her own childhood and that of her mother and grandmother during the era of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and Alexander II.

Manuscripts by Voronkov. One manuscript is a short (6 p.), handwritten, autobiographical essay, in which Voronkov mentions his military education, his service in the Russian Imperial Army, his management of a military factory in WWI, and his emigration after the Civil War. The other manuscript"Svi︠a︡tai︠a︡ Ruś" consists of 80 poems written by Voronkov primarily about Imperial Russia, Russian Orthodoxy and the Romanov family. The collection also includes a copy of a Russian emigre newspaper published in Argentina ("Nasha Strana" 15 Feb. 1966) that contains an article about Voronkov's poems.

Correspondence and manuscripts. The collection includes manuscript drafts and typescripts of two volumes of his autobiography: THE OLD CENTURY AND SEVEN MORE YEARS, 1938; and THE WEALD OF YOUTH, 1942. There are also 13 volumes of early notebooks for the period 1894 until 1909 (from age 8 to 22) containing drafts of over 200 poems, 19 short stories and many drawings. There is some correspondence about the autobiography. Also includes 21 letters from Arnold Bennett, 51 letters from Lady Ottoline Morrell, 26 letters from H.M. Tomlinson, 19 letters from Sassoon to his mother-in-law, Lady Gatty, 22 letters from Sassoon to his son, letters from many others, and a typescript of his poem "A love affair" with holograph note

1992-1995 Additions: 138 volumes of his diaries, 1920-1994, have been added, as well as 12 letters from W.A. Craigie concerning new entries for the Oxford English Dictionary, 1 drawing in the style of John Leech, 2 19th century drawings, the manuscript of his "Young John of Gaunt; a poem in fourteen cantos", 22 engraved American portraits, 5 maps of the American Civil and Revolutionary Wars, 3 scrapbooks, World War I to 1976, his commonplace book, 1927-1990, several of his published books, and "The Sheriff's Prisoner", an autobiographical account of his 8 months in Brixton Prison for Obscene Libel on the publication of "Guido and the Girls", along with letters and documents re. this case.
