The Young Mens and Womens Christian Associations were founded as a response to unhealthy social and living conditions in cities at the end of the Industrial Revolution. The collection contains pamphlets, reports, and correspondence regarding the YMCA 19th World Conference in Helsinki, Finland; pamphlets, correspondences, minutes, and questionnaires related to the YMCA Constantinople Branch in Turkey between 1926-1928; reports regarding the history and progress of the YMCA and YWCA in different countries; and pamphlets, questionnaires, records, and history of the YMCA in different parts of the world including Japan, Czechoslovakia, Poland, China and Belgium.

The collection contains a 1954 report by Yoder on the state of Protestant missions in Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.

The Gale A. Yee papers contain draft manuscripts of her book Poor Banished Children of Eve : Women as Evil in the Hebrew Bible and comments from readers, drafts of other professional writings (published and unpublished), her lecture notes for Old Testament classes, her student papers and exams from Loyola University and the University of St. Michael's College (in Toronto), drafts of her doctoral thesis, large numbers of articles and papers relating to travel to Rome and Jerusalem. The bulk of the material in this collection spans Yee's university education in the early 1970s and her writings from the 1960s to 2014.

Wornom (1902-1992) was a UTS and Columbia University Alumnus (1923-4 and again 1935), religious educator and professor, author, and General Secretary of the Religious Education Association from 1952-1970. The collection contains material related to Wornom's studies including transcripts, syllabi, reading lists, class notes, assignments, and term papers, as well as handwritten notes taken by Wornom at meetings of the Toward a Better World Society.
