Henry Boynton Smith (1815-1877) was a Congregational Presbyterian minister, theologian, and Union Theological Seminary professor and librarian. The collection contains correspondence, clippings and scrapbooks, notebooks from his studies in Germany, notes for his courses as well as student notes, and sermons.

The Council was an interdenominational consultative and advisory organization for Protestant Christian groups in China, founded in 1922 as a successor to the China Continuation Committee. The collection contains correspondence, publications, and organizational records including meeting reports.

This collection contains materials compiled by the Missionary Research Library that document foreign mission work in Korea during the early 20th century, including reports, correspondence, publications, conference records, and maps.

William Channing Gannett (1840-1923) served as minister of the First Unitarian Church of Rochester, N.Y., from 1889-1908, and then pastor emeritus until his death. He was the son of Ezra Stiles Gannett. The collection contains approximately 1261 sermons and talks given by Gannett at Rochester, NY, Salem, MA, East Lexington, MA, St. Paul, Minnesota, and elsewhere between 1872 and 1921 (with a gap from 1889 through 1906).

The American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions (ABCFM), organized in 1810, was the first successful North American agency dedicated to foreign missions. ABCFM existed until 1961 when it merged with the Board of International Missions to form the United Church Board for World Ministries. The collection concerns missions in South Africa in Rhodesia and Zulu; missions in Asia including Turkey, India, Japan, and China; missions in the Philippine Islands; and ABCFM organization in general.

Hervey De Witt Griswold was a Presbyterian missionary in Lahore, Punjab, India (now Pakistan) from 1890-1926. The collection includes Griswold's diaries, sermons, published essays, council notes, prayer books, and Bible studies.

This collection compiled by the Missionary Research Library contains 4 issues from 1916 of Dai Kokumin, an anti-Christian, Japanese nationalist publication, as well as a bibliographic card and clipping.

Reverend Paul Edwin Spiecker was a Union Theological Seminary student and Methodist minister, and Pastor of Trinity Church in Stony Point, NY. The collection contains manuscript and typescript notes for term papers and lectures at Union Theological Seminary, as well as booklets from the NJ Temperance Society, The Scientific Temperance Federation Bulletin from 1938, and a booklet on "Alcohol Problems Visualized" published by the National Forum.

United China Relief, known from 1946 as United Service to China, was a cooperative association of aid agencies active in China during the Second World War and the immediate post-war era. The collection includes transcripts, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
