Vasilii L'vovich Davydov Papers, 1826-1964

Collection includes two letters written by V. L. Davydov in 1826, one to his brother Petr and one to Nikolai Raevskii; there is also a third letter from 1826 by an unidentified person to Raevskii, concerning V. Davydov. Also included are prints - portraits of V. L. Davydov and his wife Aleksandra Ivanovna Davydova (nee Potapova), Davydov's estate in Kamenka, and others; a photograph of Vera Vasil'evna Dutakova (nee Davydova), grandmother of E. G. Garina; and biographical notes relating to Davydov and his family.

Collection consists of manuscripts and printed materials. Manuscripts include two manuscripts by Fedorovskiĭ, entitled "Balturskiĭ otri︠a︡d ́sudov v 1917 g.", and "U zemnykh." Printed materials include one book, clippings from various newspapers, and two issues of "Chasovoĭ" from 1931-32, all concerning the military historian V. A. Potto.

Vasilii Pavlovich Stetsenko Manuscripts, 1965-1970

The manuscripts include four brief essays on military themes by an unknown author, presumably either Stetsenko or I︠U︡. A. Reĭngardt, and four manuscripts by Stetsenko himself. Stetsenko's Civil War chronicle"Deviz Markovtsev: 'Smertʹ ili Slava'" details the campaigns of the Markov Division during 1918-1920 and includes a photographic montage (with photographs of Generals Kornilov, Kutepov and Wrangel) as well as lists of campaigns and members. In "Sobrano, zapisano i sokhraneno" Stetsenko presents a series of lyrics and poems dedicated to the Markov encampment in Gallipoli, 1920-1921. The collection also includes a 1916 photograph of the Tatar Tuzem Regiment in Orinin, Austrian Galicia and a pair of epaulettes.

Memoirs of Tulint︠s︡ev. The handwritten memoirs were written during the 1971-1976 period and are primarily in the form of letters addressed to Lev Magerovsky. Along with general remarks about Russian history and culture, Tulint︠s︡ev discusses his military education, religious and folk customs, and his travels through the Caucasus and Siberia.

Manuscripts, a document, photographs and printed material of Voront︠s︡ev-Veli︠́a︡minov. The memoirs cover the 1917-1920 period, including his work in armament factories, his travels throughout Russia, and his eventual emigration to Serbia. There is a detailed curriculum vitae dated 1924, a number of photographs of Belgium, and several clippings and handwritten excerpts from newspaper articles.
