1 itemSproge's memoirs are in the form of a 215 page bound manuscript, "Zapiski inzhenera," which is dated Zurich 1963. In his memoirs, Sproge discusses the 1913-1941 period, beginning with his training as a communications engineer. He describes the 1917 Revolution, his post-Revolutionary life in Kharḱov, and his travels through the Crimea. Sproge chronicles his experiences in the White Army with which he traveled to Rostov, Ekaterinodar and Novorossiĭsk. He then describes economic development during the twenties in the Ukraine, notably his association with electrification and water-power plants. The memoirs conclude with a description of Central Asia and Leningrad during the 1930's and Sproge's emigration in 1941.
