The China Information Committee 中國情報委員會 was established in late 1937 as part of the newly-formed Chinese Ministry of Information, an organ of the Chinese Nationalist Party (guomindang 國民黨), to produce propaganda for a foreign audience regarding the ongoing hostilities between China and Japan. The collection contains a series of propaganda news releases in English produced during the Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945), reports on the wartime Chinese economy, war crimes, refugees, and the gradual retreat and relocation of industries and offices to Chongqing in West China.

James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey, 1875-1927, was a distinguished scholar and educator from the Gold Coast, West Africa. The collection contains materials gathered by the Missionary Research Library documenting the life and work of Dr. Aggrey, including letters, newspaper clippings, a biographical sketch, and a bibliography.

This collection compiled by the Missionary Research Library contains 4 issues from 1916 of Dai Kokumin, an anti-Christian, Japanese nationalist publication, as well as a bibliographic card and clipping.

This collection contains color and black and white lantern slides compiled by the Missionary Research Library, depicting mission related and general scenes in China circa 1920-1929, including hospitals and hospital personnel, medical schools and labs, landscapes, and city and village life including buildings and people.

This collection contains the signatures of well-known missionaries, compiled by the Missionary Research Library. Included is the signature of Robert Morrison (1782-1834) on his copy of Du Halde's Description Geographique Historique, and the signature of Timothy Richard in a short letter.

This collection contains materials for missionary personnel compiled by the Missionary Research Library, including studies on preparation, recruitment, psychological testing and turnover of missionary personnel, as well as handbooks and instruction manuals for missionaries.

This collection contains newspaper articles compiled in 32 scrapbooks by the Missionary Research Library on a variety of topics, including missionary work in China and India and mission ideology.

This collection contains material related to ecumenical and world-wide mission work and committees and conferences, education, churches and religion, and missionaries, as well as photographs and maps and subject and topic files, including some on geographic locations, as well as the earliest records in the collection (1792) which pertain to Presbyterian Moderators of the General Assembly. Formats include reports, minutes, papers, photographs, negatives and maps.
