15 Linear FeetThe collection consists of some papermaking equipment (a small Hollander beater and a papermaking vat) which Elliott used for hand papermaking demonstrations, and some related stuff, mostly different raw materials. Though it is a "small" beater, it is extremely heavy, and takes up a good bit of floor space. This material was given to Special Collections in the 1950s as part of the effort to create a Graphic Arts Center at Columbia .
