This collection contains 12 recordings made by the International Refugee Organization (a specialized agency of the United Nations) in refugee camps in Western Europe after WWII of music and folk songs from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, the Ukraine, Poland, and Armenia. Also included is a booklet with a general introduction, and brief introductions to each country as well as the names and lyrics of the songs.
