This collection details conversations discussing topics such as unity, baptism, women in the Church, the Eucharist and intercommunion, mixed or intermarriage, the nature of sin, and the purpose and role of the Church, and includes papers written by experts of all faiths including Peter Day, an ecumenical officer for the Episcopal Church, Bishop Arthur A. Vogel of the Anglican Church, Bishop Charles H. Helmsing of the Roman Catholic Church, and Robert T. Handy, a Baptist pastor and Professor of Church History at Union Theological Seminary. The collection also contains records of minutes, reports, correspondence, position papers, and books and news statements drafted at bilateral meetings of the Roman Catholic Church and various Protestant churches.

Ada María Isasi-Díaz was an activist, theologian, UTS alumna, and Professor of Ethics and Theology at Drew University. The collection contains lectures, correspondence, working papers, publications and manuscripts, sermons, liturgies, syllabi and teaching notes, conference materials, AV materials, professional awards, and other related materials from the files of Ada María Isasi-Díaz and related to her work with women's organizations.

The Institute of Pacific Relations was created in 1925 to bring awareness to issues between the nations of the Pacific Rim. The collection contains minutes, reports, correspondence, conference records, committee and other administrative records, and newspaper clippings related to the Institute of Pacific Relations and its American Council branch.

This collection contains materials compiled by the Missionary Research Library that document mission work in North America during the 19th and 20th centuries, including material pertaining to Christianity, churches, and religion; committees and conferences; reports and bulletins; education; three-dimensional objects and photographs; and subject files.

Letty Mandeville Russell was a renowned theologian and Professor of Theology at Yale Divinity School (YDS) and an alumna of Harvard Divinity School and Union Theological Seminary, who worked in East Harlem Protestant Parish, was a director of Religious Education at Church of the Ascension, and a PCUSA home missionary. The collection includes syllabi, notes and course material relating to her tenure at YDS; manuscripts, notes and correspondence relating to her publications; reports, minutes and correspondence concerning work on denominational bodies, ecumenical task forces and committees, nonprofit organizations, and professional associations; correspondence; and memorabilia.

Katie Geneva Cannon, the first African-American woman ordained in the United Presbyterian Church, was a minister, professor, and foundational voice of womanist theology. The collection contains professional and personal materials including coursework, biographical material, artwork, teaching resources including syllabi, writing and research materials including drafts and notes, sermons, lectures and documentation of speaking engagements, correspondence, and publicity materials.

This collection contains professional and personal materials of Reverend Doctor James Hal Cone, a pioneering voice in American religious history and founder of Black Liberation Theology. Materials include writings, notes, teaching materials such as syllabi and student work, lectures and documentation of speaking engagements, supporting research for and manuscripts of publications, photographs, personal and professional correspondence, documentation of committee and other work at UTS, AV materials used for research and documenting speaking engagements, books, and awards and memorabilia.

The Federal Council of the Churches of Christ in America (FCC), officially founded in 1908, differed from other Christian Unity movements due to its emphasis on cooperation between denominations through service rather than an attempt to unite upon definitions of theology and polity. In 1950 the FCC was integrated into the National Council of Churches. This collection contains newspaper and magazine articles, journals, pamphlets, booklets, correspondence, minutes, reports, and position papers.

This collection contains records of the All Africa Christian Conference, including correspondence, photographs, memos, publications, and meeting minutes and supplemental materials.

Mary Ely Lyman was the Jesup Professor of English Bible and Dean of Women Students at UTS, the first woman to hold a full professorship and endowed chair and first woman dean at UTS, as well as an author and wife of UTS professor Eugene W. Lyman. The collection contains correspondence, lectures, news clippings, UTS publicity releases, UTS alumna records, photographs, and other materials.
