Correspondence, manuscripts, a document, subject files and printed materials of Sack. The collection chiefly concerns American claims against Soviet Russia, and the currency of Estonia and other successor states. The collection contains a 1928 document signed by George F. Kennan. The manuscripts include essays and memoranda concerning currency exchange, tax laws and a number of American court cases involving financial affairs immediately after the 1917 revolution. There are subject files relating to diplomatic claims concerning debts, and the Soviet-Estonian peace conference of 1920. Among the printed materials are clippings and various American statutes and laws.

Collection includes documents granting Dlotovskiĭ promotions and decorations, some signed by Nicholas I, Alexander II, and Alexander II's Minister of War, Dmitriĭ A. Mili︠u︡tin. Also included are a history of the Cuirassier regiment by Dlotovskiĭ, and a memorandum he wrote on the possibility of setting up a Staff for Irregular Troops.

Shlippe's manuscripts include his memoirs (200 p.) and three brief manuscripts. The memoirs describe his work in the Moscow Zemstvo organization and in the Imperial Ministry of Agriculture. There are acounts of the political trends among zemstvo personnel, the reactions to the Stolypin reforms, the 1913 Congress of Zemstvo workers and the formation of the Vserossiĭskiĭ zemskiĭ soi︠u︡z. There are brief remarks on the Russo-Japanese War and the 1905 and February 1917 Revolutions. Other manuscripts include Shlippe's essay"Begstvo iz Moskvy v Rigu" (1947), an undated memo discussing the Russian Red Cross in Germany, 1921-1938, and a six-page memoir by Elizaveta P. Shlippe entitled "Neskolḱo stranit︠s︡ iz moeĭ zhizni.".

The collection includes Pli︠u︡shchevskiĭ-Pli︠u︡shchik's diaries for 1905-1909 (covering the Russo-Japanese War, and the 1905 Revolution) and 1914-1920 (covering World War I, the 1917 Russian Revolution and the Civil War). Among other manuscripts are a memorandum prepared by General Denikin's staff for the allied missions upon their arrival in Ekaterinodar (Nov. 1918) and Pli︠u︡shchevskiĭ-Pli︠u︡shchik's obituary of General Ivan Romanovskiĭ. There is also a photograph of Pli︠u︡shchevskiĭ-Pli︠u︡schik and Romanovskiĭ at Imperial Staff Headquarters in Mogilev in 1917.

Collection includes three chapters apparently from the manuscript of a book by Efremov on the causes of the Revolution of 1917 in Russia; memoranda, notes, and clippings on attempts made in the 1920s and 1930s to bring about a rapprochement between the Russian Orthodox, Catholic, and Anglican churches (these materials were prepared for the Carnegie Endowment, apparently in 1935-36); and a 1917 menu from a restaurant in Petrograd.

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, memoranda, and printed materials. Correspondence, mostly from the Soi︠u︡z nat︠s︡ionalńogo osvobozhdenii︠a︡ (Union for National Liberation) and the Sovet obʺedinennoĭ russkoĭ molodezhi (Council of United Russian Youth), concerns the establishment of a united monarchist movement in the 1920s. Manuscripts and memoranda describe the state of the monarchist movement in the emigration. Printed materials consist of monarchist pamphlets and circulars, and also printed directives dated 1919 from the commander of the Prishibskai︠a︡ and Graderfelśkai︠a︡ volosts.

The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts by Melńikov and others, documents, photographs, subject files and printed materials. There is a cataloged letter from George Kennan. Correspondence consists primarily of letters from various members of the Don Cossacks in exile, including General A.P. Bogaevskiĭ, Melńikov, and General V.V. Naumenko. Manuscripts include Melńikov's typescript memoirs "Pochemu 'belye' na i︠u︡ge ne pobedili krasnykh?"(230 p.). Reports, by members of the Don government in exile, are on the economy of Southeast Russia. Photographs and documents concern the Don Cossacks. Subject files primarily cover the Don Cossacks during the Civil War in exile. They include several signed letters and memos by General Denikin dated 1920. The financial records of the Don government in exile cover the years 1921-1926. The bulk of the printed materials consists of issues No. 51-272 (1930-1939) of the journal "Volńoe kazachestvo," published in Prague and later in Paris. Among the printed materials there is also a pamphlet dated 1919 and entitled "Vremennoe polozhenie o grazhdanskom upravlenii v mestnosti︠a︡kh, nakhodi︠a︡schikhsi︠a︡ pod verkhovnym upravleniem glavnokomandui︠u︡schego vooruzhennymi silami na i︠u︡ge Rossii." The majority of the material in the collection concerns the Don Cossacks in emigration.

ROVS North America (ROVS-N.A.) Records consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, organizational records, subject files, and printed materials. There are also papers of the Paris-based Sovet Rossiiskogo Zarubezhnogo Voinstva (Council of the Russian Military Abroad) and other emigre military and political organizations active in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and South America. The cataloged correspondence includes letters by Evgenii Miller, Nikolai Tsurikov, Aleksandr Kutepov and other emigre figures and by Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson, Barry Goldwater and other prominent American politicians. Arranged correspondence series consist of general office files, Paris-New York files, correspondence of Aleksei von Lampe and Vladimir Vitkovskii and topical correspondence files. Among the manuscripts are short articles and reminiscences by various people. There are photographs of Evgenii Miller, Nicholas II and of emigre organizational gatherings during the 1950s and 1960s. The organizational records include circulars, bulletins, orders, memoranda, reports, publications and financial records for ROVS and the Sovet Rossiiskogo Zarubezhnogo Voinstva. Subject files concern such topics as the Elisavetgrad Military Academy, the Union of the First Kuban Campaign, the Gallipoli societies, the Ingermanlandskii Regiment and the Russian Anti-Communist Center in New York. The printed materials include a book by Boris Kuznetsov and publications and circulars from other emigre organizations.

The records of the Soiuz byvshikh russkikh sudebnykh deiatelei vo Frantsii (Association of Former Russian Magistrates in France) from its inception in 1925 through 1970. The most frequently recurring materials are: correspondence, both general and specifically related to membership drives and fund-raising activities; minutes and organization memoranda; legal briefs on behalf of clients settling disputes before arbitration panels; and mimeo and printed materials, especially clippings. Included among the correspondence are several letters from Generals Denikin, Miller and Vrangel.

Minutes, memoranda, bulletins and printed materials of the Uchreditel'noe sobranie (Russian Constituent Assembly) in Paris in 1921. There are minutes of the Judicial Commission of the Assembly; resolutions of the Executive Committee of the Assembly; a report of the Executive Committee's activities during 1921; numerous memoranda prepared by the Assembly mainly concerning Soviet Russia's relations with Western European and Far Eastern countries and treaties affecting Soviet Russia after WWI; and 11 typed information bulletins about the famine in Russia, Russian refugees and prisoners-of-war, and the financial situation of Soviet Russia in 1921. The printed materials include information bulletins, appeals to aid those suffering from the famine in Russia, and several pamphlets on Soviet prisons, the Treaty of Riga (1921), and the commercial pact between England and Soviet Russia(1921). There is also a folder with miscellaneous materials.
