This collection includes original and reprographic presentation, working, and rental drawings for projects in the New York City area, including the Ferris Booth Hall and Dormitory at Columbia University; the Empire State Building; Hunter College; the Johns-Manville Sales Corporation exhibit at the 1939 World's Fair; the Julliard School of Music; New York City Hall additions and renovations; National City Bank of New York; P.S. 302 and P.S. 307 in Brooklyn; and the United Engineering Center at the United Nations Plaza.

This collections contains the records of Warren F. Goodell as Associate Director of the Office of Projects and Grants and later as Assistant to the Vice President for Administration. The records relate to fundraising campaigns, major gifts and University planning, including materials Goodell inherited from Stanley Salmen, Coordinator of University Planning. Goodell's administrative roles also facilties, real estate, campus expansion and the Computer Center. There are also materials (flyers, newspaper clipplings, radio and television coverage transcripts, etc.) related the student strike in 1968.

This collection contains primarily original drawings, stencils, and color studies for decorative design work--primarily mosaic tile designs--done by Frederick Krieg for R. C. Fisher & Co., other unidentified companies, and likely for himself, in New York City. Although only a very few of the drawings can be attributed to specific buildings, a small group of designs were created by Krieg for the ceiling of the main floor of Surrogate's Court / Hall of Records in Manhattan. Additionally, a small number of window shade design templates, project photographs, and design reference files complement Krieg's drawings. Also included in the collection are three photograph albums and ephemeral materials documenting projects and social events associated with Krieg's son, Charles R. Krieg, a structural engineer working for the Foundation Company. Lastly, the collection contains a small group of papers regarding stone maintenance from Krieg's youngest son, architect Theodore Krieg.

This collection includes black and white and color photographic prints of construction sites in and around New York City. Notable projects represented in this collection include the American Bible Society headquarters, the CBS headquarters, the United Nations, Port Authority, and the Parking Garage next to the Brooklyn and Battery Tunnel and Washignton Street El, all in New York City; the Northwest Airlines Terminal at Idlewild Airport in Queens, N.Y; Highbridge House in Bronx, N.Y.; and the Gateway Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

This collection consists of 6 guest books kept at the President's House, 60 Morningside Drive. The guest books include the signatures of numerous guests attending a wide range of events held at the House during President Nicholas Murray Butler's tenure. Events include dinners with dignitatiries, dinners in honor of convocation honorees, commencement dinners, etc.

The bulk consists of salt prints and albumen prints taken by Nathaniel Fish Moore. Copy prints, correspondence, and other material that document the photography of N.F. Moore are included. This collection contains an early photograph of Columbia College at Forty Park Place, New York City, and portraits of Pierre Toussaint and Clement Clarke Moore, the latter credited for the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" more commonly known as "The Night Before Christmas."

This collection primarily includes black and white and color photographic prints of approximately 100 buildings designed by the American architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in locations throughout the United States, circa 1945-1969.

Collection contains large-scale black and white photographic prints taken by G.E. Kidder Smith of historic and contemporary buildings in 32 states.
