1 linear feetFive original etchings depicting buildings on the campus of Columbia University. Each etching is signed and dated by the artist "Ernest D. Roth / 1938". Each print is in ecellent condition within an original mat and protected by original tissue guards. Four of the original six printed lables are present. The prints and labels have been preserved in the original buckram portfolio titled "Columbia Etchings / By Ernest D. Roth, N.A. / Columbia University Press." All are in excellent condition. The drawings are on extended loan to the Columbia University Alumni Center.

79 drawingsThe collection contains primarily architectural drawing reproductions documenting the site history of Columbia University's Geology Library from Schermerhorn Hall on Columbia Unversity's Morningside campus to, later, the Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory in Palisades, N.Y. The drawings are largely floor plans and some building elevations of both the early and later sites, but the collection also includes a survey map of the Palisades, N.Y. site, and site plans for the Thomas W. Lamont, Esq. Country Residence and Gardens. Also included are 9 student drawings of the Geology and Zoology Library in Schermerhorn Hall by School of Mines student Eugene B. Sieminski, Jr. dated 1958. Architects represented include McKim, Mead, and White, Paver & Wildfoerster, and Olmstead Brothers Landscaper Architects.
Warren F. Goodell papers, 1962-1970
3 linear feetThis collections contains the records of Warren F. Goodell as Associate Director of the Office of Projects and Grants and later as Assistant to the Vice President for Administration. The records relate to fundraising campaigns, major gifts and University planning, including materials Goodell inherited from Stanley Salmen, Coordinator of University Planning. Goodell's administrative roles also facilties, real estate, campus expansion and the Computer Center. There are also materials (flyers, newspaper clipplings, radio and television coverage transcripts, etc.) related the student strike in 1968.
