A collection of magazine covers, most with the WWW (Women War Workers) torch insignia, depicting women in occupations ordinarily performed by men. Apparently part of a National Labor Day, 1943, tribute to American women on the home front as partners of American men at war. Among the magazines represented are: Banking; The Christian Science Monitor; Harper's; Motor Age; Popular Mechanics; The Progressive Grocer; Safety Engineering; The Saturday Evening Post; and The Timberman.
