Brenda Miller Cooper was an American operatic soprano who was a regular performer at New York City Opera from 1947 to the early 1960s. The materials in this collection were compiled by Brenda Miller Cooper during the premiere of Douglas Moore's Pulitzer Prize-winning opera, Giants in the Earth, in 1951 at Columbia University, in which she created the role of Beret.

His productions have graced the stages of major theaters in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Australia, and Europe, including the Royal Opera House, the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Ballet, the National Ballet of Canada, Australian Ballet, and the Stratford Festival in Ontario. This collection contains Heeley's sketches and designs, along with production documents, photographs, correspondence, audio recordings, and other memorabilia relating to his life and work.

This collection contains the papers of Peter G. Davis (1936-2021), who worked as a classical music critic at various national and specialist publications from 1962-2018. It includes the vast majority of Davis's writings on music (published or draft), along with print material relating to these writings, Davis's compositions (1957-1964), material relating to Davis's early education (1948-1959), and correspondence and interviews with a number of major classical musicians.
Vladimir Rosing (1890-1963) was a Russian tenor, producer, and director (primarily of opera) who worked largely in Britain and the United States. His papers include ephemera relating to his vocal and directorial career, but principally comprises his writings on art and politics, as organized and edited by his wife, Ruth, and son, Richard.
