Scope and content:

A small collection of New York publications, including significant individual issues, such as the first moon walk, and the bicentennial. Most significant, the collection features copies of some of the special newspapers that were published during the 1978 NYC newspaper strike. These include The City News, New York Graphic, The New York Daily Press, The Trib and The New York Daily Metro.

This collection is located off-site. You will need to request this material at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.
