Ralph Della Cava was senior research associate, Institute of Latin American Studies, Columbia University, and professor of history emeritus, Queens College, City University of New York. A specialist in modern Brazilian history, he is the author of "Miracle at Joaseiro" (1970) among other books and articles dealing with religion and society in Brazil as well as in Central Europe and the former USSR. His papers consist of correspondence, professional writings, and printed materials related to his research.
The collection contains only collected articles related to Dr. Della Cava's research concerning the Russian Orthodox Church. The collection does not contain any student correspondence or data.
