This collection consists of records kept by two faculty members who served on the Committee on Undergraduate Education, part of the University's Strategic Planning Commission.
- Biographical / historical:

The University's Strategic Planning Commission was appointed in 1992 by President Michael I. Sovern. The goal of the Commission, as redefined by Provost Jonathan Cole, was to identify key issues facing the University and to develop possible options for responding to them. The final reports were sent to President George Rupp in Fall 1993.
