This collection contains original and reprographic design drawings, photographic prints and various types of business records documenting the work of Rambusch Company across the United States. Over many decades, Rambusch has collaborated on projects with numerous noted architectural firms, including Bertram Goodhue, R. Guastavino & Co.
- Biographical / historical:

Rambusch Company--also known at various times as Rambusch Glass and Decorating Company and Rambusch Studios-- was founded in 1898 to provide design and fabrication services for architectural spaces. Dived into two divisions--Lighting and Crafts--designers and craftsmen created lighting, art metal, ecclesiastical arts, and stained glass for both religious and secular environments. The firm is still in operation.

You will receive an email from the department within 2-3 business days confirming your request and currently available appointment times. Requests are limited to 8 boxes per day (or equivalent), with a maximum of 5 boxes for off-site materials, 5 folders of drawings, or 5 rolls or tube boxes.
